Summary and Recommendations

Well done to all who took part in the Season Long Competitions. Members who completed the qualifying events will get a certificate.

The  number qualifying was only one less than last year at 414. That is 27% of our racing members, i.e the members who have linked their CTT and VTTA profiles. As entry to the competitions is free, it is surprising that the number of competition entries is so low. Qualification for the short distance competition requires members to ride only two 10s and two 25s. Surely there are more than 293 members who ride more than this?

Last year no club or group team qualified for the BAR, and only one team for each of those in 2023, so we reduced the number of riders required for club or group teams to qualify. This has had the desired effect with 2 club teams and 3 group teams qualifying.

If you took part this year, your entries from this year will roll over to next season. When you renew, take a minute to review your competition entries, and stretch yourself by ticking a blank box!
