Age Records System Glitch - fixed

Update 30/7: The records system has been fixed and notifications for new records are resumed. Riders who received a notification of a record that was not a record will receive rejection messages. Apologies for any disappointment.

On Friday/Saturday the Age Records system developed a problem in which all results were detected as records, resulting in a flood of false age record notifications. We apologise and are urgently trying to fix this. Meanwhile record notifications have been switched off. The results that were not records are appearing as beaten records in the tables on the website, so if you view the tables with the beaten records filter unticked (the default) you see the national and group records correctly. We will delete the records that were not records very soon. Members who received a notification of a non-record should get a record-rejected message to confirm this.
