The 402 meter outdoor track at Caird Park Dundee was the venue for the CTT Scotland and VTTA Track Day on 15th June.
The weather was warm and dry, but breezy at times.
Seventeen solo bikes and three tandem bikes took turns on the track for 15 minutes to warm up, race for 5km and then warm down. Most riders used a TT bike. There were a couple of road bikes and one track bike. Many were riding a track for the first time.
Nine solo bike and two tandem 5km outdoor track national age records were set, which is probably a record in itself!
Douglas Watson was the fastest open rider with a time of 06:18.48. Christina Mackenzie was the fastest female rider with a time of 07:50.53. These are CTT course records.
The top four on Age Adjusted Time were Douglas Watson 06:03, Stephen McCaw, 06:16, Alan Davidson 06:17 and Liz Ball 06:20.
Alex Munro set a national record for a 92 year old of 10:10.78.

Many thanks to the officials Audrey Walker, Catriona Stirling, John Campbell, James Skinner and Angus Wilson who ensured the day was a success.
