In-form Mark Lovatt (Congleton CC-MyWindsock) was crowned fastest veteran on age-adjusted time at the RTTC National Circuit Championships in Worcestershire.
Just six days after he had powered his way to victory on age-adjusted times at the Anfield 100 on Bank Holiday Monday, Lovatt showed his credentials with an adjusted time of 1-31-16 on his road bike.
That gave him the win by 1-34 from Simon Dighton (Beacon Roads CC) in a personal best time of 1-32-50 while Kevin White (Matlock CC) was third in 1-33-36.
The event was organised by Beacon Roads CC over a testing 39-mile course in Worcestershire. Known as the Little Mountain Time Trial, the event is a looped circuit that starts just south of Great Witley and heads southbound on the B4197 with riders completing a circuit from Hallow to Bromyard.
The RTTC titles went to the actual fastest riders, and Barnsley-based veteran Joanna Brewis (ADDFORM Vive le Velo) took the title in an impressive actual time of 1-45-40.
Senior rider John Archibald (HUUB WattShop) was fastest on actual time in the open category in 1-26-03.
