VTTA Southern 10 Mile (Goodwood) Closed Circuit Championship
On Saturday 10th June the riders in the Southern Closed Circuit Championship were quite glad of the evening start time. Although the sun was still shining gloriously at Goodwood, much of the heat of the day had abated by the first rider at 18:30.
There were 80 entrants across the four categories of men's and women's TT bikes, and men's and women's road bikes. With the luxury of a closed circuit (no potholes, no close passes!) riders went off at 30 second intervals, so there was always someone to chase and someone chasing you.
We'd like to thank DJ David Collard-Berry on the mic, and his team of helpers, marshals and timekeepers for running this VTTA championship event.
