This has been another good year for record breaking.
63-year-old Kevin Tye broke records at various times over the year. He ended up with National Records at 10-miles with 19:16 in the London & HC 10 on 13 July and 15-miles on 24 August with 30:17. He broke the Group 25 record on the 7 September with a 50:51 in the Paceline RT Autumn 25.
On 9 August Mark Vowells broke the National 15 mile 72 years record in Robin Johnson's Sussex CA event at Washington with 40.51. He had hoped to go faster, and he did in the Group’s promotion on 5 October with a 37:51
He has also broken the Group tricycle 10 and 25 records several times reducing the ten to 24:23 in the Group 10 on 15 June and the 25 in Verulam event on the 23 August with a 1:2:8. In the Group 30 on 27 April he set a new standard with 1:20:6. In the ECCA 50 on 16 August Mark broke the Group 50 record with a 2:9:14.
Martin Brown broke the Group 64-year-old 10-mile record on the 30 August in the East Anglia Group 10 with a 20:34.
