Sunday: Legato Racing Team 25-Mile Event
Sunday marked a significant milestone as Legato Racing Team hosted the first 25-mile time trial event to take place in the Midlands for several years. The field of 20 riders included 4 Midlands VTTA members.
Joe Murray claimed the top podium position on age-adjusted time, winning the Billy Steer Cup.
Special recognition goes to Mark Wise, who delivered a superb performance as the only rider competing on a road bike. Despite the rolling terrain and delays caused by a deer strike and traffic congestion, Mark posted an excellent time.
