Midlands VTTA Points Competition – Update (26 August 2026)

The latest results table is now live, with all counting events uploaded from this season’s Midlands K?course open events. As a reminder, the competition is based on your best six counting events, with one additional point awarded for every event ridden — and there is no upper limit on event?ridden points.

With six more Midlands events still to come, there are 360 points still up for grabs, meaning the competition is wide open and far from settled. Whether you’re chasing the podium or climbing steadily through the ranks, there’s plenty of opportunity left to make your move.

Current Standings (Top of the Table)

The midfield is extremely tight, with riders separated by only a handful of points — and with many still having fewer than six counting rides, there is huge potential for late?season movement.

• Sun 13 Sept – Banbury Star CC (21 miles, K4/21)

• Sun 20 Sept – Rugby Flyer (25 miles, K10/25A)

• Sun 27 Sept – Shire Hill Climb (1.4 miles, KH32/1.4)

• Sun 27 Sept – Shire Hill Climb (4.4 miles, KH32/1.7)

Two hill climbs, two 25s, a 10, and a 21 — a great mix of courses offering chances for specialists and all?rounders alike.

With six qualifiers still remaining, the next few weeks promise to be some of the most exciting of the season. Whether you’re defending a lead, chasing a rival, or simply enjoying the challenge of time trialling, every ride counts — and every point could make the difference.
