Midlands VTTA Massie Plate, Jones Cup and Nomads Cup results

Superb racing conditions greeted riders today at the Stafford RC Reg Pearce Memorial Race on the K48/10. Blue skies, light winds and a balmy 18 degrees made for a perfect spring afternoon on the course.

We had three Midlands VTTA trophies being contested:

• Massie Plate – Fastest on AAT (65+) Winner: Mike Lythoe (Legato RT) in 18:23

• Jones Cup – Fastest on AAT (50–64) Winner: Simon Dighton (Legato RT) in 19:55

• Nomads Cup – Fastest on AAT (Under 50) Winner: David Lynes (Droitwich CC) in 21:55

Congratulations to all three winners on outstanding rides. I look forward to presenting these trophies to you at the end of the season during our Midlands VTTA awards celebration.
