The VTTA National 100m Championship piggy-backed on the long running Anfield event on Bank Holiday Monday.  The weather was fine with slight eastery wind, but it was humid.  The NEC was well represented with 3 committee members riders and another being event representative.

Richard Bideau (NL&L) became the National Champion with Katja Rietdorf (L&HC) becoming the Women's Champion, and was 5th Overall on Standard. Group Team Champions were North Lancs & Lakes.  Born to Bike-Bridgetoen Cycles were the Club Team Champions, with all three team members being 1-2-3 in the Womens Championship.  In fact BtB had enough finishers that the 2nd best Club Team was also BtB.
